The Berlin HandOfBlood is one of the largest and most popular YouTubers in Europey, and many GameStar readers are also among its subscribers. Therefore, many of you may have been maximally confused, as the weekend may be a shady crypto live stream with Elon Musk appeared in your subscription feed.
The reason for that: Hackers took over Hänno’s channel to use it for a lousy scam.
HandOfBlood’s channel plunges into chaos after being hacked
What happened? On Saturday afternoon, the first fans reported that the HandofBlood YouTube channel had disappeared. Instead of the influencer’s usual content, there was only a live stream on the channel in which the controversial Tesla boss Elon Musk apparently talks about Bitcoin, Ethereum and other cryptocurrencies.

This type of hack has become more and more common in recent weeks, including the tuning expert JP Performance.
By taking over major channels and playing weird live streams, the hackers want lure unknowing viewers to fraudulent websites. This is then followed by offers à la Send Elon Musk a bitcoin, he will send you two back
advertised. Of course, if someone falls for this trick, the money is gone forever.

Unfortunately, this type of hacker attack is no longer uncommon. At least we can tell you that affected channels have always been able to be reset to their original state.
