The Emperor of Mankind has quoted Blood Ravens commander Dimitrios Hallensis in our What Are You Playing compact podcast to share the glory of Dawn of Wars!
Even more than 18 years after its release, the real-time strategy game remains a crown jewel of the Warhammer 40k universe and, in a complete package with the expansions Winter Assault, Dark Crusade and Soulstorm, is absolutely recommendable in terms of play and atmosphere.

Because apart from the rather short story campaigns and the open campaigns of conquest of the addons, we were particularly impressed by the skirmish battles in Dawn of War. In no other real-time strategy game do we enjoy wrestling against the AI as much.
Because Dawn of War constantly brings forth new stories of desperation or heroism (or both) through its dynamic alone – such strategy games are not made anymore!
