News receipt plan Sale: This 27-inch G-Sync 144Hz QHD screen is great, except for the price
You’ve finally got your hands on an RTX 3070, which means the doors to 2K gaming are open to you, but you still need a screen to enjoy it, and if possible without having to sell a cardioid. With the winter sale, this handsome LG UltraGear has just seen its price melt away.
Promotion: a 27-inch 144Hz G-Sync HDR10 QHD screen for less than $350!
As everyone knows, the more you want a feature-packed gaming screen, the higher the price will be. Luckily, with the winter sales in full swing, you can take advantage of attractive discounts that lower the price of screens that are usually very expensive. Today we discovered this LG UltraGear with a really serious spec sheet.
Originally sold for $451.79, this screen now costs $349.99, which makes it a hell of a deal given its generous spec sheet. As for the latter, it must be said that it contains everything a gamer’s heart desires in an almost sober package that, given its standard size, will find its place on any desk.

Sale: This 27-inch gaming screen has everything a big one has, except the price
With the UltraGear 27GN850, LG is going in the right direction with sophisticated equipment that focuses on the essentials. We are therefore entitled to a panel with a 27-inch diagonal and QHD resolution or 2560×1440 pixels. To ensure a high-quality picture, the company has used Nano IPS technology (similar to Samsung’s QLED), which offers the advantages of IPS while reducing the disadvantages of this technology.
We are thinking of the strong bloom effect that occurs with IPS panels and will be much less pronounced here. However, we benefit from excellent colorimetry with 98% coverage of the DCI-P3 spectrum and an HDR10-certified screen. We also keep the responsiveness of the IPS with a gtg response rate of 1ms and a refresh rate of 144Hz, which will appeal to gamers who love eSports titles. Of course, the screen is FreeSync certified, but most importantly, it’s G-Sync compatible, which is important given that 75% of gaming PCs (according to Steam) come with Nvidia GPUs.
This screen also has a neat stand that offers height and tilt adjustments and leaves the option of 90° rotation to take advantage of portrait mode. Finally, only the rotation of the foot is missing. At the connectivity level, we use two HDMI inputs, a DisplayPort input and a 3.5 mm audio output, for example to be able to restore the audio signal from a game console. Finally, note that you can enable a crosshair in the middle of the screen, which should help the smart ones switch from unscope to AWP in CS:GO.
