If you connect to the Internet, “Spirits of the Fallen” will appear on the map during battles. They can be found in places where many friendly Units (yellow light) and many enemy Units (purple light) fell in battle. If you send a Unit to one of those locations and select “Wait”, it will receive gifts such as EXP, stat bonuses, items, and more.
In addition, the Internet connection allows you to consult a ranking of the Units and Emblems most used by other players on a given map. This can come in handy if you’re not sure who to send into battle!
On the world map, enemy soldiers and corrupted ones will occasionally spawn in places you’ve already visited. If you head there, you can participate in “Encounter Battles” and Training. Heroes can also use powerful magic to “fuse” with the Emblems, combining their powers and unlocking unique attacks to lay waste to the enemy.
