if you wish to answer the phone Fire Emblem Engagement Be careful this weekend, as it looks like some spoilers are already in the works.
Fire Emblem Engage launches this Friday, January 20, and it looks like some fans have already gotten their hands on a copy of the game (thanks GamesRadar). The general Fire Emblem subreddit has a thread warning others that there are spoilers out there, saying “the game has started leaking, watch out there.” The user who shared the warning noted that the subreddit appears to have had some spoilers, “but most people are good at using tags .Just wanted to leave a warning and let everyone know.”
So far, it appears that some gameplay clips have been shared online, especially the early ones, but some have managed to show intermediate chapters (almost an impressive one considering the length of the Fire Emblem games. feat). There were also some unannounced characters that were shared, which usually wouldn’t be too important, but this particular title does feature characters from previous entries in the series, so if you’re hoping to be surprised by your favorite characters, there’s also Another reason to be careful.
There are of course some screenshots of dialogue and storylines, probably the most spoilers people want to avoid, so it’s best to stop scrolling for a few days if possible.
Despite these holes, there’s still a lot to look forward to in this game. iGamesNews’s Fire Emblem Engage preview had good reviews for the game, saying that “the first few hours show that this game is capable of a wider range of gameplay than its already packed-to-burst predecessors.” Three Academy fans will likely be pleased too. Season Passes will be available at launch, and the first wave will arrive on the same day, joining three popular Academy leaders.
