Elder Scrolls fans are used to long waits: the last single-player role-playing game in Tamriel was released more than 11 years ago, and it will probably be a long time before Elder Scrolls 6 appears. But at least there is good news for an exciting community project: Skyblivion wants to recreate Oblivion in the Skyrim engine and announces a release period in a new trailer.
When will Skyblivion appear?
The news is announced in a chic new trailer for the project, which is worth it in itself:

Skyblivion: The Fan Remake announces its release year with impressive scenes
The modders have not yet announced an exact day or month, Skyblivion is scheduled for full release in 2025. That still sounds a long way off, but one is confident that it should be ready in the year after next at the latest:
Developing games takes time, especially a volunteer project the size of an AAA game that would take years for a full-time team of developers. Nevertheless, we would like to announce today that Skyblivion is in a state where we can promise a release in 2025 at the latest. We hope that with your support we can take the last steps towards fulfilling our dream and maybe even surpass our own estimate.
Of course, the progress of the team is not easy to predict, since volunteers can theoretically limit or terminate their participation at any time. In the past, for example, employees of similar projects have been poached from Bethesda. On the other hand, new volunteers are recruited all the time.
The fact that the Skyblivion team is so sure despite these imponderables of the release year therefore indicates great progress in the project. After repeatedly emphasizing not wanting to set a date too early, the decision must have been well thought out.
