Sharper, new thriller from Apple TV+

The new year is upon us and so is streaming services in the big apple. Exclusive new albums on Apple Music and more original content for Apple TV+. After the great successes achieved throughout 2022 with films and series from the Apple streaming service, they start 2023 with a new first. It’s a movie whose name is Sharper with Julianne Moore, Sebastian Stan, Justice Smith and Briana Middleton, which will be released on next February 17. A thriller where lies, wealth and power permeate a setting located in New York.

Apple TV+ wants to start 2023 with a bang. The new version is more pointed, a neo-noir thriller that aims to dominate the BAFTA nominations. Apparently, the last films eligible for nominations are due out until February 17th. And surprisingly the release date of this movie is February 17th. Take a look at the official synopsis:

No one is what they seem in Sharper, a neo-noir thriller of secrets and lies, set in New York City’s bedrooms, bars and boardrooms. Characters compete for wealth and power in a high-stakes game of ambition, greed, lust and jealousy that will keep audiences on their toes until the last moment.

The the official trailer has already been released also on Apple’s official website and other platforms. We see the part of the production led by A24 and Apple Original Films directed by director Benjamin Charon. Remember that in order to be able to see all the content on Apple TV+, it is a subscription to the service is required.
