Callisto Protocol is getting a new Game Plus mode, bug fixes in a new patch

bug, Callisto, fixes, game, Mode, patch, Protocol

Developer Striking Distance Studios has released a new update for their sci-fi horror game. The Callisto Protocol, on Thursday, with the biggest addition in the form of a new Game Plus mode. This feature was originally promised for February, but despite its early arrival, The Callisto Protocol Players may not want to revisit the game until then (or later) anyway.

New Game Plus allows players to transfer their progress to a new save after beating the game. After that, any weapons, upgrades, and Callisto Credits that players have accumulated can be collected on their next run at the first Reforge station.

The latest patch for The Callisto Protocol (version 3.01) doesn’t add enough to recommend a full replay though. There are welcome bug fixes and performance tweaks, but the features the game needs from Striking Distance – better checkpointing, game-wide cutscenes, chapter select, and hardcore difficulty mode (due in February) – aren’t there yet.

Still, if you really like it The Callisto Protocol‘s style of combat and want to fully equip Jacob Lee’s arsenal, it seems you finally have that option. Read on for everything else that’s changed with The Callisto Protocol‘s new patch.
