Different future is the third and final major DLC for Stranger from Heaven: Final Fantasy Origin. After Trials of the Dragon King there Rift Wanderer, Different future ends (in theory) promised post-launch support for the game.
Different future was first announced in December with a short trailer, where it was also announced of its release date next January 27. Like the other DLCs for Stranger from Heaven: Final Fantasy Origin, this currently cannot be purchased separately, so players will need to purchase the full Season Pass to enjoy its content. A game that is not without controversy.
A few days before its release Square-Enix released a trailer to show off the contents of this latest DLC. The video shows part of the DLC gameplay and also includes some parts of the story. The Different future hopes to act as an ending to the story arc that began in Trials of the Dragon King. When it comes to gameplay, the DLC will also feature three new jobs, some weapons and a new synthesis function.
