Ys VIII: Lacrimosa of Dana is one of the best Japanese ARPGs that have come down to us in recent times. This is endorsed by both trade journals and gamers who were able to enjoy it on both Nintendo Switch, the console it launched on in 2018, and Ps5, the platform it landed on in late 2022. But perhaps Falcom’s title path isn’t over yet and it still has one final season left: Xbox Game Pass.
Or at least that’s what Nick Shpeshal claims in his latest XboxEra podcast, where he also showed off the Gears 6 and Ultimate Collection logos.
Ys VIII: Lacrimosa of Dana would be a great addition to Xbox Game Pass
So, the insider who also mentioned that Microsoft and Platinum would be working on Scalebound’s return, confirms that Ys VIII: Lacrimosa of Dana could end up coming to Xbox Series X | S and Xbox Game Pass. A great addition that would continue to demonstrate this approach between Japanese titles and developers towards Microsoft and Xbox. Without a doubt, great news ahead but, as we always tell you, for now we’re taking it with a grain of salt until it’s official. Of course, it wouldn’t be strange if that ended up happening, since the game is available on virtually all current platforms.
