Be sure to cast your votes in the poll below; but first, let’s look at the box designs themselves.

North America

There’s a very light horror aesthetic to both Panic Bomber frame variants, with each featuring a castle in the background, bats here and there, and characters based on classic horror creatures like mummies and werewolves. The North American design is not as heavy as the Japanese design, with only three characters and one flying bat in the upper left corner. It’s also bezel-less on the top and bottom, but it’s still an attractive display overall.

Japan

The Japanese design, as mentioned above, is busier in its composition, featuring a total of five characters with a slightly more distant point of view, encompassing much of the background. There are no borders here either, which really allows the artwork itself to shine. However, the colorful logo in the lower right corner may not be consistent with the rest of the article.

Thanks for voting! See you next time for another round of Box Art Brawl.
