When it comes to customization and versatility on the iPhone, the Shortcuts app should be part of the conversation. It is thanks to Shortcuts that we can schedule a check of the temperature conditions in the area where we are or decide to do so and issue a personalized opinion depending on what the minimums will be. The steps are a bit long to explain, but if we follow them with the iPhone in front of us, even if we create our first shortcut, they are more than logical and simple. Let’s go with them:

1. We open the application shortcuts on our iPhone or iPad.
2. We touch the “+” to create a new one.
3. In Shortcut name we write something like “Temperature notice”.
4. In the search engine on the right we write “Time” and touch Get the weather forecast.
5. We keep the possibility of Daily and also that of current situationunless one wants to define that of another city.
6. In the search engine on the right side we write “Time” again and touch Get weather details.
7. we play in Date and we choose Minimum.
8. In the search engine on the right we write “Yes” and touch And.
9. we play in Condition and we choose is less than or equal to.
10. we play in Number and we write the temperature from which we want to be warned.
11. In the search engine on the right side we write “Notification” and touch Show notifications.
12. We touch the small “x” to the right of But.
13. we drag Show notifications so that he stays between And and the end if.
14. We touch the small arrow next to Show notifications.
15. In Title we write something like “Low temperature warning”.
16. In the search engine on the right we write “Text” and touch Text.
17. Drag the text action on the left just above Show notifications.
18. In the text section we write something like “Today we will reach the”, a space, click on the variable suggestion Minimum from the bottom, then end the sentence with another space and “degrees”.
19. We touch on “Hello, world”, we delete the opinion and we click on the suggestion variable Text the bottom.
20. In Attached file we eliminate all variables.

6. we press Next.
7. we play in add actionwe write “execute” and we click on run shortcut.
8. we play in Shortcut right next to “Run” and choose the shortcut we just created.
9. we press Next.
10. We disable confirmation request.
11. Click on don’t ask.
12. we play OKAY.

Nothing more. As we have already said, the steps are many, but very simple. In the end, we will achieve that from a certain temperature threshold, our iPhone quickly informs us. A threshold that we can customize both in value and in the place where it is measured to take the actions we deem appropriate.
