With the Indie Box, the entire XboxSquad editorial team offers you mini reviews of very little known or featured indie g ames. While some don’t deserve to step out of the shadows of the Xbox Marketplace, others might be worth a look. That is the whole subject of this section.
In Deep Space Anomaly you control a ship. This is very difficult to control and is constantly attacked by waves of enemies. Luckily, by eliminating all threats, you earn money that you can use to upgrade your hardware more or less efficiently. Where the game differs from others is that you can walk as you want, up, down, left, right without any restrictions, the map seems to be infinite and the aliens will follow you everywhere. The adventure will be played out in different waves and that’s… all? The salt of the game comes from the new monsters, each with a unique design and abilities… Nothing very exciting in itself.
I appreciated:
- This different side in the movement of the ship compared to other games of the genre.
