Not one, but two Far Crys: According to reports, two new games in the Far Cry series are currently in development. These are Project Blackbird, i.e. Far Cry 7, and Project Maverick, the multiplayer spin-off.

According to Kotaku, Ubisoft is switching from the Dunia to the Snowdrop engine with Far Cry 7. This was already used in The Division 2 and is also used for Ubisoft’s Star Wars game with open world.
