Like every month, Konami is preparing to make balance adjustments to its popular free card game. Let’s see how it will change Yu-Gi-Oh: Master Duel taking a look at the new ‘banlist’ or list of prohibited, limited and semi-limited cards that will go into effect on Monday, February 6, 2023.

Banlisted cards Master Duel as of February 6, 2023

We cannot have any of the following cards in a deck.

  • Union Transport (Union Carrier) – 3 ⇒ 0
  • Wisely brilliant (Toadally Awesome) – 1⇒ 0

Semi-limited cards in Master Duel as of February 6, 2023

we can only have maximum two of each of the following cards in a deck.

  • the grass is greener (That Grass Looks Greener) – 3 ⇒ 2
  • There can be only one (There Can Be Only One) – 3 ⇒ 2
  • dimensional variator (Dimension Shifter) – 3 ⇒ 2
  • infern caster (Infernity Launcher) – 1 ⇒ 2
  • Conqueror of the golden land (Conquistador of the Golden Land) – 1 ⇒ 2

Cards that no longer have restrictions on Master Duel as of February 6, 2023

we can have up to three copies of each of the following cards in a deck.

  • Dinoluchador pancrateratops (Dinowrestler Pankratops) – 2 ⇒ 3
  • memories of hope (Memories of Hope) – 2 ⇒ 3
