Pathway launches on April 11th Steam and GOG, Now publisher Chucklefisch has released the launch trailer. It shows you the story basis and the gameplay of the pixelated adventure strategy game, Because the German developer Robotality has a publisher on board, Pathway is not a real indie game, but it is even more of an indy-like!
Because: fans of the old Indiana Jones title from LucasArts will feel comfortably transported back to days long past when the desert sand still had square grains. And Indiana Jones' nickname is Indy, which is why we really couldn't help it.
As can hardly be overlooked, Pathway wants to follow in the footsteps of the adventurous archaeologist. You command a group of explorerswho unearth treasures buried in a procedurally generated desert of the 1930s.
Where Indy serves as a source of ideas, even Nazis can not be far: you eavesdrop on soldiers as they do from one powerful ancient weapon speak (did someone say Ark of the Covenant?). Now it is up to your brave troop to find the artifact in front of the regime minions.
In the randomly created levels you chase different treasures, fight against enemies in turn-based battles, develop your characters further and uncover the over 400 different story events.
