Surely many of you know Navigate The Legend of Zelda. But, did you know that it had a predecessor in this franchise?
As we have learned, the publication ‘The Perfect Zelda Fan Book’, a Japanese guide to A Link to the Past which also contains a short manga for the first three games in the series, has revealed that Navi was not Link’s only pet. Thanks to the tweet below, we can see images of the publication in HD, thus verifying how Link has a different fairy companion, with a human aspect.
It is believed to be Emerald from the other A Link to The Past graphic novels. Those interested can consult the manga where it appears in Internet Archive. It is certainly striking how this type of old promotional material continues to leave us with curious details like this to this day.
