The PlayStation Plus Collection will be removed from the service in May 2023, giving PS5 owners just two months to download the included games, after which they will no longer be available for free.
The news comes alongside the list of free PlayStation Plus monthly games, and it’s a sudden and unexpected revelation for those who haven’t yet redeemed those titles. More importantly, it would remove the console’s other great features for the new owner.
But it’s not the end of the world. If you’re already a proud PS5 owner, you can quickly claim them now, which will make them available for download after May, as long as you have an active PS Plus subscription. That being said, if you don’t currently own a PS5 and plan to do so in the near future, it’s best to hurry up and do so before a ton of great games stop coming with your sub for free download.
The full list of games included in the PS Plus Collection is as follows:
- Bloodborne
- days gone by
- Detroit: Become Human
- Mars
- infamous second son
- Ricky and Clank
- last guardian
- The Last of Us: Remastered Edition
- until dawn
- Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End
- batman arkham knight
- Battlefield 1
- Call of Duty: Black Ops – Zombie Chronicle Edition
- Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy
- fallout 4
- Final Fantasy XV Royal Edition
- Monster Hunter: World
- Mortal Kombat X
- Resident Evil 7 Resident Evil
There are a lot of killers on this list, and it’s this collection that stands out as the main reason to snap up the PS5 when it debuts, finding it unreal in the wild and lacking a lot of its own exclusive games. But these days, there are plenty of standout games, and significantly better ports than last-gen consoles.
Either way, get PS5 owners excited! Download favorites as much as possible!
