No Monster Hunter fan would argue with us when we say: Capcom takes very good care of Rise’s endgame and especially Sunbreak. Title Update 4 will be released shortly, bringing veterans an old acquaintance. But the anomaly quests will also be revised.
It’s a thing with Monster Hunter. You either love or hate the series. In recent years, however, the popularity of hunting games has undeniably increased. No wonder Capcom not only chose a more beginner-friendly approach with Monster Hunter World and Monster Hunter Rise, but also significantly increased support for endgame content. In line with this free add-on content approach, Title Update 4 for Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak was released yesterday.

The previously promised Elder Dragon that you can slay made its first appearance in Monster Hunter World: Iceborne. Velkhana is a frigid fellow who can freeze particles of ice in the air and then smack them in the face. He is accompanied by the special form Resurrected Crimson Valstrax. You can fight both of them after reaching master rank 160. And of course both come with their own skills and equipment, so that the hunt is really worthwhile.
The Title Update also brings 4 new anomaly research quests. These come at level A8 and you can fight, among other things, the chaotic infested Chaotic Gore Magala. The Risen Elder Dragons will get in your way from anomaly level 111, the limit has been raised to level 220.
Of course there are also new weekly quests, the first to stand in your way being the Seething Bazelgeuse and the Chaotic Gore Magala in a dual threat. And, of course, some paid DLCs come into play. Title Update 4 is coming to Switch and PC on February 7th. The Xbox and PlayStation versions of Monster Hunter Rise have not yet been supplied with Sunbreak, so logically the update is not yet available.
