Yesterday we announced that EA and Respawn had canceled a project that dealt with the Apex and Titanfall universe. That game was Titanfall Legends, a delivery that would provide Apex Legends with a story mode that would connect the game to other events and game modes. Something similar to what happens with Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2.0.
apparently and according to Jeff Grubbin this title we could have seen Rampart discover the BT chassisone of Titanfall 2’s titans. In this episode, we were playing with Brisk and along the way, we were meeting other Apex legends to connect the story to the multiplayer elements.
Titanfall Legends remains by the wayside: it will not come true
This seems to stem from the fact that there are a lot more people who play Apex than they possibly know about Titanfall, in Grubb’s own words. Initially we would speak of a frantic and aggressive deliverycharacterized by great action that would keep us glued to the drive for a long time.
Details of scrapped Apex Legends single player game that was in development by @JeffGrubb:
– Featured BT and other Titanfall characters
– Rampart brought BT back to life
– Players played as Blisk
– Legends would appear to give you powers
– Inspired by Doom Eternal

But apparently we won’t see that, Apex Legends’ story mode seems to be left out of the equation, at least for now. We’ll see if in the future the company offers us something like this, or maybe a Titanfall 3. I don’t want to close the doors to see this possible, my hopes for a third installment are high.
