Netflix has announced plans to begin cracking down on password sharing, with new measures rolling out globally over the coming months.
If you’re splitting the cost of Netflix with friends or family members in different households, it could be a sign of ending your subscription, especially since the service increased its prices last year.
We have all the steps you need to cancel Netflix, whether on PC, Android or iOS. If you are billed for Netflix through Google Play or iTunes, you will not be able to use the web method.
Practically, Netflix will retain details of what you watched during your time with the service for a year after your account is closed, so you can return to Netflix with all of your personalized recommendations intact if you wish.
