Now SNK has confirmed several of the tournaments that will take place in its space in EVO Japan 2023. Among these, the official tournament of The King of Fighters XV (KOF XV), which —in addition to being the main event of EVO 2023— will be the first qualifier for the SNK World Championship (SWC) 2023.
So below we will learn about the tournaments and activities that SNK will have in its EVO 2023 spaces, which will most likely be accompanied by news and advances of its current and future projects.
The return of the SNK World Championship (SWC) at EVO Japan 2023
The previous SNK World Championship (SWC), in 2020, was «postponed indefinitely» due to global complications from the pandemic. However, the Osaka company — putting aside the failed 2020 event focused on Samurai Shodown (2019) y KOF XIV— has decided to bring back to life the event that is now the first official world-class tournament of The King of Fighters XV (KOF XV).
Global information about the 2023 SNK World Championship (SWC) has not been revealed. However, SNK shared that, the winner of the tournament of The King of Fighters XV (KOF XV) at EVO Japan 2023 will qualify for the SWC 2023 finals. This world championship of KOF XV (SWC 2023) is organized by SNK and will take place in the first quarter of 2024.

At the moment it is unknown on which channel these tournaments will be broadcast. They are most likely transmitted in the canal de Twitch SNK.
