The latest boxed video game software and hardware rankings have now arrived from the land of the rising sun via Famitsu for the week of January 20, 2023 to February 6, 2023. The best-selling system this week was Sony’s PlayStation 5 console, which sold 93,026 units as inventory arrived traders. The Nintendo Switch family of systems was in second place, selling an additional 55,736 units. The #1 video game in the box this week was the unstoppable Pokémon Scarlet & Violet, which sold an additional 31,191 copies. These are the top selling video games along with hardware in Japan:
