Since then Immortal Empires together with the Champions of Chaos
DLC has been rele ased, no new content has been released for Total War: Warhammer 3. The last major update 2.3 was released in November, and the developers have been silent since then. Which new DLCs are planned for 2023 is still completely unknown.
Game Director Rich Aldridge has now broken the long silence and addressed the community in a video message on Twitter. In it he explains why new extensions are being delayed, which is planned for around 2023, and also asks for a little patience and understanding.

Three big DLCs in 2023
Arguably the most important piece of information in the news is that Creative Assembly is definitely working on new content for the strategy game and expects to release three major expansions throughout the year. The first expansion even has a date: in April it should be ready.
Aldridge was a little more reserved on the two subsequent DLCs. Here he named summer and winter 2023 as rough schedules. Exactly what kind of DLC that will be is still unknown. It has been suspected for some time that the Chaos Dwarfs will be the first big race pack. At least Aldridge promises that a lot of heart and soul has gone into the new expansion:
When you get your hands on this DLC, you will most certainly realize what a passion project this has been for us. And why we take so much more time to get it right for you. It’s going to be an incredibly great experience.
In case you are not yet sure whether Warhammer 3 will match the Immortal Empires

be respectful
The original plans for Warhammer 3 and Immortal Empires needed to be adjusted a bit, according to Aldridge. The team was simply forced to smooth things over after the release of Warhammer 3 and spent a lot of time patching Warhammer 3 and rounding out Immortal Empires. Of course, this now means that new content is delayed.

Total War: Warhammer 3 is making a huge mistake right now
In his video, Aldridge also asks not to use the wrong tone when communicating with the team. Creative Assembly’s social media managers in particular have a lot to listen to on a regular basis, so in his video Aldridge advises the community to be more respectful when talking to these important team members.
