It seems that wildly successful DJ David Guetta was out of luck when he approached Eminem for a feature. Or maybe he didn’t even try. In fact, using two AI services, he used Eminem’s lyrics and voice during a live performance.
According to his own statement, he used the first AI to imitate the style of Eminem’s songs. With a second AI, he then combined Eminem’s voice with the automatically written text.
He does not reveal exactly which services were used in the appropriate tweet below. Instead, you can see a short excerpt from the performance and a brief explanation of his actions.

Eminem probably wouldn’t put it in his mouth anytime soon.
At the same time, Guetta states that he will not release the song commercially. It remains to be seen whether he can calm everyone’s spirits with this. Apparently he didn’t ask Eminem if he could use his voice.
Apart from that, many fans were happy about a cooperation with both artists and are now in a mood of displeasure. Guetta has to listen to a lot of criticism for that.
This isn’t the first time David Guetta has been criticized for ill-considered actions. How Consequence reported, he was criticized in June 2020 for sampling Martin Luther King Jr.’s “I Have a Dream” speech to honor George Floyd. The most likely well-intentioned attempt backfired a bit at the time.
