The official Pokemon account announced that the brand new Pokemon anime, starring two new main characters, will have its premiere in Japan at 6:55pm on Friday, April 14 via TV Tokyo. Two new protagonists, Liko and Roy, will replace the star of the series, Ash Ketchum, who has been in the anime for about 25 years. The new Pokemon anime doesn’t have a release date here in the west, but as soon as The Pokemon Company announces it, we’ll be sure to let you know.
