What challenge is one of the tasks associated with the lama school quests in Fortnite.
Via a web portal, Fortnite players can complete Llama School Challenges to move around a map. One such challenge is the Quen Challenge, which takes place on a Creative playlist island.
Here’s how to complete the Quen Challenge in Fortnite, and what to do if you experience bugs, like the challenge not resolving for you after you complete it.

Fortnite Quen Challenge Walkthrough
The very first thing you need to do before completing the Quen challenge is to search for the island using its island code. It might help you with a few bugs later, so it’s best to just type in the code before diving in. The code is: 5412-2194-1119v32.
Once you enter the Quen Challenge Island code, load into a match. First, you will need to approach the quest board and interact with it. This will explain that a jester has made too many jokes about the king and needs to be protected and escorted out of the area. Head to the Jester and interact with him to trigger the quest.
By pressing ‘X’ at any time, the jester will follow you. Unfortunately, you’ll have to keep doing this, because if you stray too far or the Jester bugs between objectives, his tracking function will be reset. Lead the Jester to the first courtyard and kill 10 enemies that spawn here.
You will start with a sword, which can be used to cut down your enemies. There are also coins strewn about. Collect them and spend them at the shop in this first area. Buy a bow, as it will make things much easier. Keep following the coins with the jester in tow, until you reach a door. Go inside (the game will give you a directional marker to follow) and kill another group of guards. There’s another store here, so get the Primal Flame Bow if you can afford it.
The next room contains a large bathtub which leads to a staircase. Go underground and face the enemies that appear. In the next room there is yet another shop and a secret wall. Be sure to purchase the Dynamite and the Fiend Hunter Crossbow. Lead the jester to the secret wall and they will open it.
You are now in the sewers and must fight waves of enemies, then a boss. They are evil enemies and are a little harder to deal with. Once you clear them, there’s another shop selling a crossbow with unlimited ammo.
You’ll be ambushed again, then led into a room to take on another boss. If all goes as planned, the door on the other side will open. Cross with the jester and interact with the small boat. This will take you to Kaer Morhen. In front of you is a large stone statue. Emote on it to complete the quest and gain tons of XP. The door on the other side will open and you will be free to explore the area or exit the menu.

Fortnite Quen challenge not clearing error
Some players have reported that upon completing the Quen Challenge, they did not see him clearly on the School of Llama web map. This is required to clear an obstacle, so will halt your progress unless you find a workaround. As mentioned earlier, a workaround (thanks, u/Krazy_Mouse on Reddit) seems to load into the challenge via its island code (5412-2194-1119v32.) Another solution is to wait a few hours for the map to register that you completed the challenge.
Unfortunately, the Quen Challenge is riddled with bugs at the time of writing. In our time, bosses would disappear through floors, objectives would not progress, and the jester would constantly stop tracking. You may have to play multiple times to complete or wait for a patch from Epic. Your best bet is to use the Island Code cheat and complete the challenge with friends. You get a lot of XP for completing it, so it’s worth sticking with despite the many frustrating bugs and errors.
