Remedy’s newly released financial report provides some information on the progress of the development studio’s various projects.
According to the recently published financial report of the Finnish development studio Remedy, the development of Alan Wake 2, the studio’s biggest project to date, is already well advanced and the game is even playable from start to finish.
But the report also contains interesting information about future plans and other Remedy projects. There are currently five AAA games in development, with one scheduled to be released each year.
The action title Control 2 has now reached the proof-of-concept stage and is catching up with the Control spin-off Codename Condor and the free-to-play co-op shooter Codename Vanguard, which was postponed internally in August, which is currently also available remain in this phase of development.
The remakes of the two shooter classics Max Payne and Max Payne 2 are still in the concept phase. A publication is therefore still a long way off.
