The news from Nintendo hasn’t stopped in the past day or so, with various financial milestones being revealed, including the fact that the Nintendo Switch is the second best-selling home console of all time.
However, the news from Nintendo doesn’t stop there. The official listing for The Legend of Zelda: Tears of Kingdoms, along with its retail price, was first spotted on Nintendo Life.
On the US page, the highly-anticipated game is priced at $69.99, which isn’t cheap, but it’s no surprise since Sony decided to increase the price of its first-party titles. Hopefully, $70 games won’t be the new normal, but that seems inevitable right now.
The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild launched for $59.99, and it’s still available for that price on the Nintendo Store. The price of Tears of Kingdoms has gone up by $10, and honestly, it’s unlikely we’ll see the game on sale for long.
Of course, in typical Nintendo fashion, the price for Tears of Kingdoms has been removed from the page. However, with the Nintendo Direct line up tonight at 10pm, we’re hoping to see a few more games to prepare us before we inevitably empty our wallets to play it.
The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom will be released on Nintendo Switch on May 12, 2023.
