The long-awaited remake of the classic game System Shock is now on the home stretch and is scheduled for release in 2023. There is now a fresh PC demo to try out in advance – and the system requirements have also been determined in the meantime.
On the occasion of the Steam Next Fest, the developers have made available a new PC demo for the remake of the classic System Shock from 1994. In the new trial version you can see for yourself how the iconic gameplay is paired with new HD graphics and updated controls. Of course, the user interface, sounds and music have also been modernized.
The entire opening level of the remake can be played – without any restrictions whatsoever. Using a combination of stealth, cunning and futuristic weaponry, you must navigate your way through Citadel Station’s new areas, traps, puzzles and mysteries to reach villain SHODAN. You also get to deal with all kinds of mutated creatures.
