New Weapons, Augments, Bad Reputation, and Cold Blooded faction

The 23.40 AM update on Tuesday, February 14, 2023 has brought new weapons, augmentations, and mechanics to Fortnite — including the bad reputation level — as part of the new ‘Most Wanted’ event and the arrival of the Cold Blooded faction on the island. Let’s get to know all these news.

This is how bad reputation works in Fortnite

During the event The Most Wanted of Fortnite we will see a “bad reputation” meter at the top left of the screen. This new mechanic, clearly inspired by games like Grand Theft Autoit will raise our level of bad reputation by “committing crimes” like open vaults y eliminate opponents.

Now we will find new NPC members of the Cold Blooded faction on the map. When we have at least one level of bad reputation, they will be more hostile. As if that were not enough, we will be visible on the minimap. But don’t worry because this also has great benefits

• 🔥: Eliminated opponents drop more gold bars
• 🔥🔥: movement speed increases by 15%, we will regenerate up to 100 life out of combat.
• 🔥🔥🔥: movement speed increases by 20%, we will regenerate up to 100 life and 50 shield out of combat.
• 🔥🔥🔥🔥: movement speed increases by 25%, we will regenerate up to 100 life and 100 shield out of combat.

New exotic weapons of the Cold Blooded faction in Fortnite 23.40

If we defeat one of the Cold Blooded faction bosses that we find on the map, we will obtain access cards to the new vaults, which will also be protected by members of the faction.

After eliminating all members of the Cold Blooded faction in your path, you will be able to take these exotic weapons:

• stolen invader shotgun: suitable for destroying walls and covers
• Stolen Explosive Assault Rifle: fires explosive projectiles
• Stolen Accelerator Shotgun– Movement speed and rate of fire increase as you deal damage to enemies.
• Stolen run and shoot submachine gun: Has the same effect as the slap drink and recharges while running.
• Stolen Teleporter SMG: Will grant the Zero Point Onslaught ability temporarily after reloading.

In addition to Vaults, these new weapons can appear in other ways during Battle matches. Fortnitebut they will be much rarer.
