You may recall that in last week’s Nintendo Direct, Nintendo announced that wave 3 of the Xenoblade Chronicles 3 Expansion Pass would arrive on February 15th. Well, today is that day and, as promised, a new wave of DLC has just been released.
As always, the release of a new wave of DLC also means that Nintendo will release an update to the base game. So, Nintendo has updated Xenoblade Chronicles 3 to version 1.3.0. In addition to adjustments for the release of the new wave of DLC, the update has a bunch of bug fixes. You can see the full patch notes below.
- Added compatibility for Expansion Pass Wave 3.
- Fixed an issue where some enemy models were placed where the name and enemy name did not match.
- Issues where some Testudos were called “Armadillo” and some Armadillos were called “Velites”.
- Fixed an issue where leveling up from class rank 9 to class 10 when the final battle is over would not unlock the spawn that should be unlocked.
- In case this has already happened, downloading the update will fix the problem, unlocking the look.
- Fixed an issue where completing the Roald, Fla’ran and Zooza Collectopedia entries would cause the initial reward to display.
- Fixed an issue in Challenge Battles where lowering the effect volume in the sound settings would still cause combat sounds and footsteps to sound relatively loud.
- Fixed an issue where sliding down a rope while using a certain amount of time would cause party members to continuously be knocked out and resurrected.
- Fixed an issue where pressing a button for a certain amount of time during the loading screen would cause the battle menu to appear after launching the game.
- Fixed an issue where successfully completing Mio’s chain order would not reduce attacker and healer hate.
- Fixed additional issues to improve gameplay.
