In the past we have shared on the web on several occasions about the existence of a live action movie inspired by Tetris that is on the way. Well, today we receive news related to it after its original announcement in 2016 and with Jon S. Baird as director for Apple TV +.
Specifically, today we learned that this film will arrive on March 31 to Apple TV+ (through Entertainment Weekly). It is a biographical film about the origins of Tetris and “how Henk Rogers (played by Rocketman’s Taron Edgerton) managed to secure the intellectual property rights to Alexey Pajitnov’s (played by Nikita Yefremov) game, in the context of the Cold War.”
