Yakuza Like a Dragon Ishin announces a DLC featuring one of the saga’s iconic characters. A demo has also been put online to test the game for free before release.
Yakuza Like a Dragon Ishin has made several announcements ahead of its launch on February 21st, 2023 on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One and PC.
A free demo of Yakuza Like a Dragon Ishin
SEGA and Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio have released a free demo for Yakuza was like a dragon on PS5, Xbox Series X|S and PC (Steam). According to the information, this trial version is supposed to give up the story of the game in order to focus more on the fights. Hordes of enemies will descend on main character Ryoma Sakamoto in Kiyomizu Temple, while he also takes on three armored warriors.
Inequality reigns in Kyo during the 1860s, but a confident samurai will change the course of history. As Ryoma Sakamoto, you travel to Kyo to find your father’s killer, exonerate yourself from a murder you did not commit, and clear your name. In doing so, you will end the era of the samurai and change the face of Japan forever.
The Japanese publisher also tells us that by subscribing to its newsletter, players will receive two weapons: the Bone Breaker Katana and the Water Drop Katana. This little gift can be claimed until March 20th.
Kazuma Kiryu invites herself into the game
Even if it takes place in 1860, Yakuza Like a Dragon Ishin will mix several eras thanks to a DLC Kazuma Kiryu, the emblematic hero of the series. A skin included in the Digital Deluxe Edition.
