After several weeks since the arrival of 13.2, Apple has released the macOS 13.3 beta to developers who are part of the Apple Developer Program. The update will be released for participants in the public beta software program probably within a week.
According to the release notes, Ventura 13.3 includes a warning that appears on silicon Apple MacBooks when an SD card is inserted. It also contains several fixes related to iWork apps, virtualization software, iCloud, task manager, etc. It’s also possible that Ventura 13.3 will include hidden in formation about upcoming Mac releases, including the rumored 15-inch MacBook Air and Apple’s first silicon Mac Pro.
The 13.3 update follows the general release of macOS Ventura 13.2 on January 23, which included nearly two dozen security updates and support for FIDO-certified physical security keys. Earlier this week, Apple released macOS Ventura 13.2.1, which included three other critical security patches, including one for a WebKit vulnerability that could lead to arbitrary code execution.
To install the macOS 13.3 public beta as soon as it arrives, you need to register your Mac in the Apple Beta software program and install a new profile. You will then receive updates as they arrive during the development process.
