Embracer Group aims to release five new video games based on The Lord of the Rings license by March 31, 2024.
In recent years, the Swedish Embracer Group has made a name for itself mainly through the acquisition of numerous large and small developer studios. Including Middle Earth Enterprise including the rights to The Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit.
Following the acquisition in August 2022, it was announced that it wanted to take the project to new heights and dimensions while staying true to the spirit of the great works of literature.
How well that works, Her of the Rings fans will probably find out in the near future. As the Embracer Group officially announces, five new video games based on The Lord of the Rings will be released by March 31, 2024 for consoles, PC, mobile and other platforms.
