Clear, community, , Hogwarts, Legacy

Hogwarts Legacy hit like a bomb. The Steam reviews are 93 percent positive, and we are also enthusiastic about the new role-playing game in the test – at least if it weren’t for the technical problems. We’ve asked you what you think of Hogwarts Legacy so far and the result is clear as butterbeer.

Clear enthusiasm

Over 2,400 votes were collected, with the absolute majority in favor of Hogwarts Legacy. 58 percent like the game very much, 17 percent good. 18 percent haven’t gotten around to playing Hogwarts Legacy themselves, but want to do so, while 4 percent have no interest in role-playing at all.

There are hardly any negative voices with you, 2 percent are moderately satisfied, 1 percent doesn’t think highly of Hogwarts Legacy, and the Not At All tab failed to snag a percentage point.

Jan1981 is clearly enthusiastic, the GameStar rating is too strict for him:

For me, even the 88 without devaluation is not enough. 90 must be in it.

Zakkuri approached with low expectations, but they were far exceeded:

My personal surprise hit. At first I thought “another license gherkin”, but I must have thought wrong…

MK1990 is also satisfied with the magic game, but has a few points of criticism:

I like it pretty well so far. Likes the atmosphere and exploring the world is fun. I also like the fighting, but I would like the visual effect to be a little clearer when I can use Protego. Unfortunately, I often overlook this in the hustle and bustle. I find the limited inventory a bit annoying, but I know that it can probably be increased. Popping graphics also disrupt the immersion a bit, but I can live with that (playing on the PS5).

Erolioos can hardly put his joy at Hogwarts Legacy into words:

For me, it’s felt like 10 years or more since I’ve been playing the same game every evening, namely this one, and the evening is getting too short for me. And I’ve become very critical when it comes to gaming. It’s just so great that I’m at a loss for words. Practically no session goes by without being able to discover something new somewhere. Or not saying, “Oh wow, I have yet to see that, or I have yet to do that. Only 30 minutes left.” Get it if you’re even into fantasy and action RPGs. But turns off raytracing on the PC for the time being.

GamingOpa62 has spent a lot of time in Hogwarts Legacy over the last few days, which is why he is now slowly running out of content:

After more than 73 hours of play, the biggest shortcoming for me is withdrawal. There really isn’t much worth doing anymore. I’m so hoping for lots of DLC and other lands, Durmstrang, Beauxbatons and Ilvermorny?, and a lot more beasts. 🙂

Did you think Hogwarts Legacy would be so well received? Or did you, like Zakkuri, expect it to turn out to be a licensed gherkin? After all, good Potter games aren’t very common. Write it to us in the comments!
