We’re less than a month away from the release of the third season of Halo Infinite Multiplayer, and with it will come many new features that will expand the gameplay experience. narrative events that will guide seasonal events, in addition to game modes.
With all of this, we come to Halo Infinite’s infection mode, since Halo Infinite was the first Halo that canonically uses the game modes it implements in every event; we saw it with Last Spartan Standing, trench mode with Hoarding and so on. The infection will not be different, and that is why it will have a very important change for this video game, since we will forget about the deluge and we will be controlled by a corrupt AI, like Iratus.
And that’s what we know, since we’ve spun all the leaks that have taken place so far and we can say with certainty that Halo Infinite’s third season will be themed around Iratus and its corruption.
Halo Infinite leaks, a puzzle over its future
Based on massive leaks that surfaced several days ago, we were able to confirm that the new Infection game mode will be the main theme for seasonal multiplayer events. With that, on top of that, we have that the leaked promo and main art are also “corrupt” themed, with big hints that the AI is corrupting Spartans to fight.
For completeness, there is a classic weapon from this game mode that also leaks. This is the Shotgun, which won’t be the same as the previous Halos, but a reimagining to work properly in Infection. As we know, the current Halo Infinite Bulldog has a pretty high rate, which would create an imbalance in the game mode, requiring a gun with a more powerful barrel, but a lower rate of fire.
Now, if all of the above are still rumors and leaks (which we consider unlikely), similarly, we also have leaked Iratus audios and dialogue lines for the new season, confirming, again, all of the above. .
With all of the above, Halo Infinite Season 3 will arrive in early March and bring with it a new battle pass, cosmetics, maps, and more. In the meantime, we’re content with these leaks and nothing else.
