Skull and Bones, finally some sunshine?
During the presentation of Ubisoft’s latest quarterly results, the publisher played a question-and-answer game with the trade press. Inevitably, it comes down to the topic of (legitimate) concerns skull and bones came on the mat. As a result, CFO Frederick Duguet wanted to reassure. In particular, he noted that the playtest organized last month was very satisfactory and that the studio now has a version that “very solid improvements“, to show it to players who have not yet seen it. Unfortunately, we do not know the nature of the improvements. According to rumors, the stages on foot have not convinced for a long time, so we can bet that without getting too wet there will be changes at this level in the right direction.
What to expect ?
It now remains to be seen when Ubisoft will reveal more details skull and bones to the public, particularly through lengthy gameplay sessions that might put everyone at ease. On our site, we were last able to preview the game in July 2022. Back then we could appreciate certain qualities of the title, especially the promise of freedom. Many elements have changed since then and the current state has nothing to do with last year’s demo.
