Screenshots of the complete content schedule for Call of Duty in 2023 are currently circulating on Twitter. The sensitive data is said to have been captured in a data theft. Several CoD experts like Tom Henderson’s website Insider Gaming or TheGhostofHope picked up the information.
The leak includes the plans for the upcoming seasons in Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2 as well as a project called Project Jupiter for the end of 2023. This is said to be the new full-price offshoot that was previously traded as an MW2 addon.
How credible is that? Since the CoD roadmap should be up to date in December 2022, later changes cannot of course be ruled out. In addition, the information cannot be checked for authenticity by an independent party. So view this snapshot with a healthy dose of skepticism!
According to the leaked data, the CoD year 2023 should look like this:
Season 3
- March 15 to May 15, 2023 [nicht mehr aktuell durch Verschiebung von Season 2]
- 2 new operators, one licensed operator [Crossover mit anderen Marken]
- 3 new weapons
- 3 new MP maps, one map for Ground War
- 4 maps for gunfight
- A new Spec Ops mission
- A new raid
- Tier 1 Event
- 70 Bundles [im Ingame-Store]
Season 4
- May 15 to July 16, 2023 [nicht mehr aktuell durch Verschiebung von Season 2]
- 2 new operators, one licensed operator [Crossover mit anderen Marken]
- 3 new weapons
- 2 new MP maps, 2 maps for Ground War
- 4 maps for gunfight

So other operators in collaboration with other games, films or other brands are relatively safe. In Season 1, for example, well-known football players such as Messi came into play in line with the World Cup at the time.
Gunfight will return with a total of eight to 12 maps – the mode has already been officially confirmed. The number of maps and weapons in turn corresponds to what players know from the current Season 2. This is how Gunfight typically works:
5:41
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare – 5 minutes of pure gameplay from 2v2 Gunfight mode
Exciting view: After we recently got a glimpse of the future of CoD, the leak sheds a little more light on CoD 2023! Apart from the seasons, the schedule envisages an alpha for Project Jupiter for the end of May 2023. That speaks for a whole new CoD part.
More about CoD Jupiter: Experts are currently assuming that Jupiter is the new CoD project from Sledgehammer Games (CoD Vanguard, CoD WW2). According to media reports, it was initially an MW2 addon that was eventually converted into an independent game in the Modern Warfare universe.
