Call of Duty will also be released for Nintendo Switch in the future. Microsoft is currently planning not only to take over Activision Blizzard, but also to provide one of the top ranges for Nintendo’s handheld hybrids.
Xbox boss Phil Spencer had confirmed this some time ago and now the deal between Microsoft and Nintendo is apparently sealed, as the tweet from Microsoft President Brad Smith reveals
The cooperation between the two companies is now set to last for 10 years. This, along with Phil Spencer’s promise that they will continue to provide Call of Duty for Sony’s consoles, is further confirmation of the statement that Microsoft wants to make its own games available to a broad mass of gamers.
Considering the partnership is set to last 10 years, you’ll be able to play Call of Duty and possibly Diablo 4 on the Nintendo Switch 2 in the future.
