The video game adventures of Amazon Games continue: After New World, Lost Ark and Blue Protocol, the publisher department of the shipping giant is now taking the fourth online role-playing game into its portfolio: Throne and Liberty has been developed by the Korean MMO specialists at NCsoft for over a decade.
Originally intended as a sequel to the Lineage series and known as Lineage Eternal and Project TL, Throne and Liberty is now set to make its way west. Amazon appears there as a publisher, a release date but there is not yet. However, the worldwide simultaneous launch should take place in the first half of 2023.

Some details about the game are already known, recently a closed beta took place:
- If scenario a medieval fantasy world with castles and knights is used.
- The focus is on the Story Campaign and directly controllable PvE battles.
- Alternatively, you can also PvP battles fight out
- In the character creation there is only the people of the people to choose from.
- Klassen there are none, but you switch between two weapon sets and level up freely in the talent tree through quests and dynamic events.
- Your character can move into different animals transform to move quickly through water and air.

- At organized by guilds PvP-Burgschlachten use huge siege beasts like the Tailer that you control.
- Your character has one climbing hookwhich allows you to quickly move vertically.

- As a technical substructure comes the Unreal Engine 4 for use. The look may remind some of Crimson Desert, another graphically complex online role-playing game that has been in development for several years:
Throne and Liberty will be released for PC, PlayStation 5 und Xbox Series X/S, a last-gen release should no longer take place. Incidentally, Amazon Games is also currently developing a new Tomb Raider game plus an associated TV series.
