Quite surprising to learn that Baldur’s Gate III doesn’t have an Xbox release date, basically because the game won’t be released on the platform. We have already shared with you the news of its release on PC, but this will not be the only platform the game will be released on, it will also be released on PlayStation 5. It seems that just as it has happened with other games , the release of Baldur’s Gate III on Xbox consoles is complicated, as is the arrival of Final Fantasy 7 Remake
Jesus Cord, from Windows Central, commented on exactly this point, which doesn’t seem to be very clear how and when Baldur’s Gate III will come to Xbox. He explained on social media that he sees it similar to what we saw with Final Fantasy VII Remake, a game that to this day still hasn’t made it to Xbox and honestly it looks like at this point, we won’t be seeing the game again in the short term on our consoles.
Is Baldur’s Gate III coming to Xbox?
With Baldur’s Gate III, Xbox fans will find the same expectations of Final Fantasy VII Remake and other games, with vague and indefinite periods of PlayStation exclusivity. Don’t be surprised if Baldur’s Gate III never comes to Xbox.
At the moment we have yet to know an official version of the Larian controller, but at the moment the reality is that the game is not announced for Xbox and at the moment it will not be in the short term.
Xbox fans now have to go through the same waiting game with Baldur’s Gate 3 as with FF7R and other games with vague and indefinite PlayStation exclusivity periods.
Don’t be surprised if Baldur’s Gate 3 never comes to Xbox.
