In February Konami celebrated the first anniversary of Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Master with a series of gifts for players. Now, like every month, Konami is preparing to make balance adjustments to Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Master. So it’s time to learn about the new ‘banlist’ or list of limited, semi-limited and unrestricted cards that will take effect on Wednesday, March 1, 2023 at Master Duel.

Limited cards in the ‘banlist’ Master Duel as of March 1, 2023

The ‘decks’ or decks of the Spirit archetype will suffer with this addition to the list or ‘banlist’ of limited of Master Duelwhich will come into force from March 1 to the game of Yu-Gi-Oh!.


Semi-limited cards on the list or ‘banlist’ of Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Master from March 1

we can only have maximum two of each of the following cards in a deck or ‘deck’ of Master Duel as of March 1, 2023.

  • Fate Fusion (Fusion Destiny) – 1 ⇒ 2
  • Runic Destruction (Runick Destruction) – 3 ⇒ 2
  • runic dream (Runick Slumber) – 3 ⇒ 2
  • Runic Freezing Curses (Runick Freezing Curse) – 3 ⇒ 2

Letters that become unrestricted on the list or ‘banlist’ of March 2023

we can have up to three copies of each of the following cards in a deck.

  • Horror del Arpa Orcust (Orcust Harp Horror) – 2 ⇒ 3
  • Thunder Dragon Roar (Thunder Dragonroar) – 2 ⇒ 3
