Children of the Forest, the long awaited sequel to Endnight Games’ Forest, is coming soon. Although, in Early Access. It’s been almost nine years since The Forest first launched, so for those of us who’ve been patiently waiting to explore Dangerous Islands with friends again, it’s been a long time.
Since The Forest is one of the best survival games out there, fans can only hope that its successor, Children of the Forest, will build on the game’s greatness. If you’re not familiar, Children of the Forest is a survival horror game that places you on an elusive island. Here, you need to build yourself a home and try to survive the island’s secrets and endless cannibals.
Children of the forest release time
Children of the Forest will launch into Early Access today (February 23rd).Players can choose from 9:00AM PT / 12:00PM ET / 5:00PM GMT through steam. There is currently no option to pre-order or pre-load the game.
Endnight Games also suggested via the game’s Steam FAQ that it expects Children of the Forest to remain in Early Access for 6-8 months, though this could change depending on how players rate the game. So, if you plan to wait for the finished experience, you still have a few months!
The Children of the Forest will also be in $29.99according to Tweets from Endnight Games. Prices not yet listed for other regions.
