Halo infinite Season 3 is finally almost here after months of delays, and here’s a new trailer to show off what we can expect.

As we all know, Halo Infinite has had a rough time since its launch. This continues until now, as the game’s upcoming season 3 titled Echoes Within finally launches on March 7 after being delayed for several months in September. The roadmap did give us some snapshots of what to expect, but the new trailer finally shows it in action, with three new maps, a new weapon, and a new piece of equipment.

Arena mode will add two new maps, Cliffhanger, a huge open area that’s literally based on a cliff and looks like it has a lot of rocky options when it comes to cover, and Chasm, an indoor map adorned with classic laser bridges. For Big Team Battle, there’s the new 8v8 Oasis map, a desert-themed area with plenty of room for Warthogs to roam around.

On the firearms side, there’s the M392 Bandit DMR, a classic weapon that many will be happy to see return. It’s a single-shot weapon, and judging from the trailers, it works very similarly to the DMR in older Halo games like Halo 4 and Reach. The new gun also comes with a new piece of equipment, the shield screen, which is essentially just a fancy smoke screen (but looks cooler).

Season 3 also added more Forge levels to the community favorites playlist, most notably the Art’s Room, which looks like a real teen bedroom and makes all the Spartans look like little toys . The playlist will also give XP so you can still level up.

There’s also a tier 100 battle pass, which brings everything back to normal compared to the tier 30 battle pass of the winter update.

Season 3 of Halo Infinite starts on March 7th and runs until June 27th.
