If you’re currently facing a zombie on a Paris street, don’t worry. Everything under control.
Filming for one of the spin-offs has been underway for a few days the Walking Dead started in the capital. More specifically, it’s the series The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon which aims to focus on the iconic character of the saga, the lover of crossbows and motorcycles. This is one of the many TWD projects currently happening on the small screen, but the first to take place in France and therefore Paris.
Daryl on a Paris street, really?
The video caused a stir on the Internet, in fact, an American woman in Paris had the opportunity (?) to encounter zombies at the bottom of her window right on her street. When she tried to leave her house, the zombies showed her the way out of the filming location. Fun. The video in question is visible on the social network TikTok at this address and it was even shared by Daryl’s interpreter, Norman Reedus himself. It’s reality, the shooting of the series is in full swing.
Paris and Normandy
In the cast of this film we also find French actress Clémence Poésy, Anne Charrier, Eriq Ebouaney, Laika Blanc-Francard, Louis Puech Scigliuzzi and Romain Levi. If the synopsis isn’t very clear at the moment, all we know is that Daryl is in France for a reason that is still unknown. Also, we know that part of the show takes place in the south of France, in particular in Martigues, in addition to Paris.
Later in March the T serieshe Walking Dead Daryl Dixon should also shoot in Normandy (and not in Brittany) at Mont St. Michel. Enough to make France shine thanks to a cult series due out in 2023.
The other series is on the way The Walking Dead: Dead City, in which we will have the opportunity to meet again the characters of Maggie (Lauren Cohan) and Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) in the heart of New York. And that’s not counting the final series, which obviously involves Rick and Michonne, which will land in 2024.
