What’s the first thing that comes to mind when you hear the words Diablo and Hell? Exactly, beauty and fashion! Not? Well. But that doesn’t change the fact that a fashion show was recently held in Milan, during which Jannik Wikkelso Davidsen presented his presented its own collection, which was created in cooperation with Blizzard.
The outfits of the collection are supposed to be pictures of the Hell as a place of beauty cause. It is well known that beauty is in the eye of the beholder. So make your own judgment first:
Diablo 4 – View images of the Danish fashion collection
Dramatic presentation
Davidsen is the founder and creative director of the Danish fashion label Han Kjobenhavn. According to the press release, his Diablo collection is called Chthonic Penumbra and follows an artistic vision inspired by Sanctuary. So the dark game world of the Diablo series, which we will see on June 6, 2023 in Diablo 4 will visit again.
Of course, this action is primarily a PR measure for Diablo 4, but the outfits are quite real and the fashion show during the Fashion Week in Milan was also held in front of an audience. While the models dressed in their costumes (?) walked up and down, dystopian sounds are said to have been played. Together with the blood-red fabrics, this has become one dramatic experience
contributed.
Another showing of the ready-to-wear collection is planned for fall or winter 2023, with sales expected to start in summer 2023. What is a prêt-à-porter collection? These are garments that are not tailor-made for the runway, but can also easily be bought as is. The other way round, this is called haute couture in the fashion world.
Learned something again.
We’ll have to wait and see whether the fashion label triggers exactly the same emotions with this collection as Diablo 4 did when it was released. But at least you’ll soon be able to try out the action role-playing game for yourself in the open beta and then at most ask yourself which armor suits your monster hunter best.
What do you think of this action? Do you find it unnecessary, or can you maybe even get something out of the designs? Write us in the comments how you feel about it and whether such PR campaigns put you off or actually arouse interest in the game!
