Motive Studio has published the sixth post in its “Discovering dead space“. Entitled “Back to the beginning”, Philippe Ducharme, lead producer, Mike Yazijian, art director, and Roman Campos-Oriola, creative director, reflect on the game’s beginnings and its iconic inspiration. The trio talk about forming the core development team, telling stories about the process they went through to work on Dead Space, and their excitement to drop everything to work on one of their favorite franchises. They knew they were up to a big challenge, but they’re committed to paying homage to the beloved original game while introducing technological improvements for modern audiences.
