Resident Evil 5 was released in 2009, but after more than a decade in the market, it just received a new update. Many see this episode of Resident Evil as the franchise’s most unique gameOn one side are the hardcore fans of the game who have spent their thumbs playing it and on the other are those who hate the existence of this edition.
The reason for this dispute is that the game kept much of what the beloved Resident Evil 5 added in terms of mechanics, but added cooperative play and for many that was a big mistake, especially if we take into account poor AI performance in the game and its more directed approach to hard-core action.

Despite differing opinions, the game was a smash hit for Capcom and held the company’s best-selling game record for many years. In fact, this new update could bring many players back to the African lands that serve as the setting for the title to once again fight a battle against Umbrella.
The update is aimed at players using the title by steam since the login requirement for “Games for Windows Live” has been removed and a local split-screen system has been added along with some bug fixes and other details. Let’s keep in mind that before in the PC version it was only possible to play cooperatively online.
